Ecomizers are water tube heat exchangers used to recover some of the heat on the gases going from the boiler to the chimney.
Heat gained from flue gases; as a "feed water economizer" when the boiler is fed to the feed water; as a "domestic water economizer" when it is supplied to water for purposes such as operating water, bath-shower, process, washing in the facility; when the burner is used to preheat the combustion air or to heat the ambient air, it is called an "air heater economizer".
